Rewio shares your internet connection after you agree and turn it on.
While it's on, business clients send web requests through your connection, and websites see your IP address. Link a game, and the time your connection is in use counts toward rewards in that game.
How it works
Questions
Who uses my connection?
Business clients send web requests through it. Websites they open see your IP address.
What can websites see about me?
Your IP address, which can show your approximate location, such as your country and city. Rewio asks for your consent before sharing starts.
Does it use Wi-Fi or mobile data?
It uses whichever connection your phone is on. On mobile data your provider may charge you, including for roaming. Sharing also uses battery and may slow your connection.
How do I stop it?
One tap on the button in Rewio, any time. To keep it off until you agree again, withdraw consent in Settings. To delete your data, email team@rewio.io.
How do rewards work?
Link a game with a code from that game. Time when your connection is in use counts toward rewards there. Rewio does not pay cash or redeem rewards for money.
Do I need to link a game?
No. Sharing works without a game. You can link one game at a time.
